Department of Education & Communities new Funding Model

Future funding models for Community Preschools are under review by the Department of Education & Communities. Coffs Camera House will be coming in Term 3 week 10 to take Preschool photos of the children. Details are as follows:
Tuesday/Thursday/Friday groups
Tuesday 17th September 2013
If Tuesday is not your child’s day please speak to Robyn regarding arrival times.
Monday/Wednesday group

Rest Time Sheets

According to the National Quality Framework:
2.1.2 Each child’s comfort is provided for and there are appropriate opportunities to meet each child’s need for sleep, rest and relaxation.

Rachell Pregnall from Bellingen Primary school will be coming on Wednesday 7th August 2013.  Rachael is involved with transition to school.  She will be helping the children become familiar with Bellingen Primary School.

St Mary’s Catholic School Visit

Munch & Move

The Children have been participating in the Munch & Move program of Fundamental Movement.  The children have been practicing 2 skills each week.  These can be seen in the Daily Reflective Journal.

Young Australia Workshop presents RUBBISH- Reuse, Recycle & Reduce

Mic Conway – the original Captain Feather Sword – will be presenting a show to learn about the 3R’s in a circus of comedy, magic and mayhem.  The show will commence at 1.30pm and run for 45mins on Friday 24th May 2013.  The show will be fully subsidised by the preschool.
